Brits were eager to hit the pubs for the first Friday of indoor drinking in months

These two Newcastle lasses were prepared for the wet weather

The streets of Birmingham were rammed with revellers


Hardy revellers dressed to the nines as they dashed to be the first at the bar

The pubs and diners of Leeds, Birmingham and Cardiff were also bustling

Revellers out in in Cardiff City centre as the Covid-19 lockdown restrictions were eased

Some were more than happy to play up to the cameras

These friends were prepared to brave the rain for a bit of much-needed fun

Brave punters saw umbrellas turn upside down in high winds - but refused to let it stop them

Despite some seriously inclement weather, many were just happy to be allowed out on the town
